MI-172 is the modification of МI-8МТВ-3 manufactured by Kazan Helicopter plant for export.
The difference in nomination of МI-172 and МI-171 of Ulan-Ude plant due to certification requirements for similar helicopters that came from different manufacturers.
Cabin volume of 23m3, rear-loading ramp and pocket side doors are ideal for various cargo types including vehicles transported within the cabin, long load with opening of rear-loading ramp.
Low noise and vibration level in addition to the climate control system within the cabin provide comfortable flight conditions.
